Vietnam is a captivating journey through history, nature, and modern vibrance. Starting with Hanoi, the cultural heart of the country, travelers can immerse themselves in its rich heritage, vibrant Old Quarter, and tranquil lakes. A short trip away, Halong Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage site, mesmerizes with its dramatic limestone karsts and emerald waters, perfect for a serene cruise. Further north, the mountainous regions of Sapa and Ninh Binh offer stunning landscapes of terraced rice fields and traditional villages, providing a glimpse into the rural life of Vietnam. Moving south, Danang and Hoi An combine luxury beach resorts with ancient charm, while Hue, the former imperial capital, presents a treasure trove of historical sites along the Perfume River. In the bustling Ho Chi Minh City, or Saigon, modern energy meets French colonial architecture, shopping, and vibrant nightlife. To experience rural life, the Mekong Delta provides a tranquil escape with its floating markets and tropical landscapes, while the pristine islands of Phu Quoc, Nha Trang, and Con Dao offer the ultimate beach retreats. From scenic landscapes and cultural treasures to dynamic cities and peaceful retreats, Vietnam offers an enriching and diverse travel experience, ensuring every traveler finds their perfect adventure.

Itinerary

We have carefully planned out each day to give you the best possible experience. From exploring beautiful landmarks to tasting delicious local cuisine, each day is packed with excitement. Join us as we take you on a journey through some of the most fascinating destinations.

Welcome to Hanoi, the capital city of Vietnam. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by your local tour guide, transfer to your hotel in downtown. In the afternoon, visit Ba Dinh Square – the biggest square in Hanoi where all the biggest cultural, political events of the cities, especially demonstrations, take place. Visit the Complex of Ho Chi Minh including Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (from outside only as it closes in the afternoon), Ho Chi Minh’s house-on-stilts, his fish pond and the One-Pillar Pagoda. Then, the Temple of Literature which is considered as the first university of Vietnam. Later, have an overall view of the capital by cyclo in 1 hour, which wanders around the Old Quarter of Hanoi and the Hoan Kiem Lake (the “Sword” Lake). From here wandering on the narrow streets of the Old Quarter to experience the daily life of the local people. Transfer back to your hotel. Overnight at in Hanoi. (Note: Early check in is not included and subject to hotel availability)

After breakfast, your bus driver and tour guide will pick you up from the hotel, drive across the Red River delta and reach the coast a little before noon. Embark on a beautifully crafted junk for an overnight cruise in the legendary seascape of Ha Long Bay. Once on board, you are served a delicious seafood-based lunch, while the surrounding limestone outcrops make for a truly magical setting. In the afternoon, you reach a less travelled area where you will devote yourselves to pure relaxation. The program is not fixed and depends on the time of the year and weather, but there will be an opportunity to visit a cave as well as explore a floating village or do a little bit of kayaking over the course of these 2 days. End the day on the sundeck as the sun sets on this magical seascape. This evening, you can enjoy an aperitif or attend a cooking demonstration before dinner. Overnight in a comfortable private cabin with an en-suite bathroom. (B, L, D)

For those early birds, start the day with a proposed Tai Chi session, while tea and coffee are served as the sun rises and illuminates the surrounding seascape. Then, continue exploration of the bay. Upon returning to the boat, check-out of your cabin and enjoy a light brunch while cruising back to the pier. Disembark and transfer back to Hanoi. Take a private transfer without guide to the airport. Leave Hanoi for Danang. Landing at Da Nang International Airport, you are greeted upon arrival and driven to your hotel. Check in and Overnight stay in Da Nang. (B)

After breakfast, transfer to visit Cam Thanh village and Bay Mau coconut forest. Here you have chance to experience the traditional way of life. Take a bamboo basket boat tour through the coconut groves, learn how to paddle a traditional boat and try your hand at catching fish and shrimp using traditional techniques. Relax in the peaceful countryside by simply sit back and enjoy the views. Learn about traditional handicrafts by watching local artisans weave baskets and mats using coconut leaves and other natural materials. You can even try your hand at making your own. In the afternoon, after transfer to Hoi An Ancient Town, you will be immersed in a magical world of Oriental feel. Walk over the Japanese Bridge, visit Chinese Assembly halls, and explore ancient houses. You can also listen to folk music at old club-houses or stroll into the market by Thu Bon River. Here, you may feel the same inspiration as artists who have found the rooftops of Hoi An to be a source of inspiration. The rest of the time is free for shopping and exploring the town on your own. Later drive back to Danang. Overnight stay in Danang. (B)

After breakfast, transfer to Ba Na hills area where your cable car transfer will be waiting to take you up to an altitude of 1487m above sea level. This is the second longest cable car in the world. On a visit to Ba Na hills, you will be able to enjoy visits to an ecological park, a theme park, a pagoda, and a mock French village (not including Wax Museum). Accompanied by your tour guide, you can walk the “Golden Bridge” – the pedestrian walkway offering tourist’s uninterrupted views of the majestic landscape beneath. Next you will have some free time to explore the park some more, discover the games and other entertainment areas. Spend more time to relax at your preference then make your way back to the cable car to venture back down the mountain for transfer to hotel. Overnight in Da Nang. (B)

After breakfast, Transfer to to Danang airport. Embark on your flight to Ho Chi Minh city (not included), the big metropolis of the South. You are greeted upon arrival and driven to your hotel in the city centre, historically called Saigon. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh city. (B)

Full Day Cu Chi Tunnels and half day Saigon city tour: After breakfast, you will picked up from your hotel and drive ti Cu Chi (60 kms – 1.5 hours) the network of over 200 km of tunnels became legendary when they played a vital role in the war. In their heyday, the tunnels were functioning underground cities, including numerous trap doors, specially constructed living areas, storage facilities, weapons factories, field hospitals, command centers, and kitchens. After a short introduction video showing how the tunnels were constructed, you will have a chance to crawl into a short section of the tunnels to feel the oppressive narrowness and heat inside. Experience the thrill of firing an M15, AK-47, and carbine rifle at the National Defense Sports Shooting Range (at guests own extra cost). This is your chance to get a taste of what it’s like to be a soldier in a war zone. With the help of experienced instructors, you’ll learn how to handle these powerful weapons and how to shoot them safely. Later transfer for your city Ho Chi Minh City tour visit to the War Remnants Museum, which documents the Vietnam War in graphic detail. The museum’s exhibits are both harrowing and thought-provoking, and they provide a valuable glimpse into one of the most destructive wars in history. Next visit the Reunification Palace formerly the Independence Palace of the South Vietnamese president. The palace was stormed by tanks on April 30, 1975, marking the end of the Vietnam War. Today, the palace has been preserved in its original state, and it’s a fascinating glimpse into a bygone era. We end our day with a walk through the city center, where we’ll see some of Ho Chi Minh City’s most iconic landmarks, such as City Hall, the Opera House, Notre Dame Cathedral (view from outside only), built between 1877 and 1883, and the colonial-styled Central Post Office. We’ll also visit Ben Thanh Market, a bustling marketplace where you can find souvenirs, handicrafts, and local delicacies. (Flexible/ If have enough time). (B)

 After breakfast, today you are free for leisure & shopping until transfer to Airport to departure. (B)
